Directory data sources and methodology

AntiqAI publishes a useful map and directory without inventing store details. Here is how the information is assembled and maintained.

Where listings come from

Initial store records come from OpenStreetMap features categorized as antique shops. The directory retains a link to each source record and displays the required map-data attribution. The current snapshot was refreshed on July 16, 2026.

What gets indexed

City pages require at least eight mapped stores before they are eligible for indexing. Individual store pages require a name, street address, city, state, and usable coordinates. Sparse state and city pages remain available for navigation but carry a noindex directive until they provide enough value.

What we do not publish

We do not manufacture ratings, reviews, opening times, addresses, or descriptions. The AntiqAI app may use AI to assist with nearby discovery, but AI-generated results are not used as factual directory records on this website.

Corrections and additions

Store information changes. Owners and visitors can request an addition or correction by emailing support@antiqueidentifier.com. Include the store name, address, official website, and the correction needed. Updates are reviewed before publication.
